Fr Duncan Hegan

Fr Duncan has served as Parish Priest of St Mark’s, Noel Park, since July 2026. He was ordained deacon in 2023 and priest in 2024, and served his curacy at St Alban’s, Holborn. He trained for the priesthood at St Stephen’s House, Oxford, where he studied a BA in Theology and Religion, and an MA in Theology, Mission and Ministry, writing his dissertation on Anglican Papalism. Originally from Bangor, Northern Ireland, Fr Duncan read History at New College, Oxford. Before training for ordination, he worked with an education charity and taught History in Tower Hamlets. He has also worked closely with Fidelium, the lay-led network for Anglo-Catholic young adults in London. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, listening to music and following football.
